Hello! My name is Alysha, and I am currently a student at Liberty University where I am pursuing my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I'm excited to have the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges and work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

I've always had a heart for helping people, and becoming a counselor felt like a natural way to combine that passion with the unique gifting that God gave me. I believe every person has a story worth hearing and deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel valued and empowered as we work together toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

The Lord has given me a special heart for individuals experiencing grief, loss, and suffering, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate life's challenges and discover hope and healing. My counseling interests include working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem, grief and loss, and personal growth. I am especially passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen their relationships, and move toward the life they desire.

As a Christian, my faith shapes the way I approach counseling by encouraging me to serve others with empathy, humility, and compassion while honoring each client's unique beliefs, values, and experiences. I am committed to providing a supportive, respectful environment where clients feel accepted and encouraged throughout the counseling process. As I continue to grow through graduate training and supervised clinical experience, I look forward to learning from each person I have the privilege of serving.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy staying active through CrossFit, spending time with my family and friends, eating good food, and traveling.
